A distributor near the coast kept receiving corrosion complaints on outdoor furniture. The fix started before the order, in the coating and hardware specification. A case note.

Coastal suitability depends on preparation, finish selection and maintenance expectations rather than a colour name on its own. Understand powder-coated aluminium for coastal outdoor projects, from finish specification and sample approval to cleaning and maintenance planning.
