At the beginning of the cooperation
A well-known Indian courtyard design brand (specializing in high-end villas / outdoor scenes for hotels) found us through Alibaba International Station and explicitly requested a customized high-end central column umbrella + single-layer aluminum louvre shelter combination solution for a high-end resort hotel project in northern India. During the client's first visit, the team demonstrated the core products (as shown in the scene in the picture) on-site and explained in detail about the sun protection coating, wind-resistant structure, and customization capabilities, initially establishing a trust foundation.
Core Challenges and Breakthroughs
Customer Pain Points: The client requested a custom design for a special size (to fit the narrow and long layout of Indian courtyards), a sun protection coating that can withstand 50℃ heat, and it needed to pass the Indian BIS safety certification. Additionally, the client required the first batch of 500 units to be delivered within 30 days. The previous overseas supplier that had collaborated with us was unable to meet these requirements due to the long certification process and insufficient customization capabilities.
Solution
• Technical Side: The R&D department was jointly involved in adjusting the coating formula. Within two weeks, the high-temperature resistance test was completed to ensure that the product would not fade or age under extreme heat conditions.
• Certification Side: The BIS certification process was initiated in advance, and the local Indian testing institution was simultaneously connected. The certification period was compressed to 25 days.
• Production Side: The production line schedule was adjusted, and a dedicated production channel for the client was opened to ensure the timely delivery of the first batch of orders
• Service Side: The installation process of the product was demonstrated on-site, and multilingual installation manuals were provided to address the client's post-sale concerns.
Cooperative achievements
The client signed the annual procurement framework agreement on the spot. The first batch of 500 sets of high-end central column umbrellas + pergola were successfully delivered and received high praise from the hotel party.
Subsequently, an additional order of 2,000 sets was placed, making it the core supplier for high-end outdoor scenarios in India.
